2011 Golf Tournament A Success!

Our Golf Tournament went off without a hitch yesterday and appears to be a resounding success!!

Even the efforts of the Golf Committee, who gathered en masse Wednesday morning to stand atop the King’s Forest club house to collectively blow the rain clouds away,  were rewarded with not just a lack of rain, but some warm sunny weather despite the forecasted predictions! Well done!!

  1. WOW!! I had so much fun, what a fantastic event. Sylvia and Theresa you made it so seamless all the work you did really showed, very impressive.
Jason , thank you for your words they were very eloquent and moving. I think you are a natural orator.
Maggie Brown – I am speechless, I still well up with tears. I loved your speech – can I have a copy? Thank you. Thank you all , I always knew we could pull it off. We can do anything. Lots of love from Maddi and James.
PS : Jason Farr rocks as an MC – i emailed him kudos!

  2. It was a fantastic day. Walter Gretzky was a hoot! And Maggie was truly impressive with her speech. I was especially appreciative of Councillor Farr giving up seeing his beloved Ti-Cats to stick it out for the evening.
Big kudos to Paul, Alex, Maddi, James, and especially Sylvia and Teresa – there was a reason everyone leaving the tournament said it was one of the best run events they had ever attended. That reason is YOU!

  3. What a great day! Had a hoot, and I didn’t even golf! Thanks to all who attended for your support and generosity. Most appreciated!
